North Somerset Local Plan 2041: Submitted for Examination
The North Somerset Local Plan 2041 has now been submitted to the Planning Inspectorate for independent examination.
This means the Regulation 19 consultation stage has closed, and the Plan is now being considered through the formal examination process.
The Local Plan was submitted for examination on 22 May 2026. The submitted documents are available on the North Somerset Council website.
Residents can also follow the examination process through the Programme Officers’ examination website. This is where updates, documents and future examination information will be published.
